Why it is important to understand tire safety in cars, trucks or van

Tires are one of the most important components in any vehicle. It ensures the balancing of the car when its running at a good speed, and a leak or a burst tyre may be fatal to the driver of the car and to the passengers as well. You will find yourself spending quite a lot of money on the comfort accessories of your car, but more often you will not ever think of the tires on which your car runs. You would need to check your tire pressures regularity, and for a better maintenance, you would need to check the balance of your car wheels periodically, as otherwise your tires may start to erode in wrong places. You need to check the your tyre pressures regularly, more so before you make a long trip with your car. Proper inflation measurement could be found either in the manual that came with your car, or on the sticker stuck on either your driver side door-jamb or your fuel-filler cover. You should always check the pressure when your tires are cold.

You would need to look into under-inflated tires immediately for your own safety and the up-keep of your car. Besides other effects, under-inflated tires, impart rolling resistance to your car, damaging the tires. Tires are one of the expensive components of your car.
