Here I will show you about 3ds max 3d model water pipe joint tutorial.
I have used following techniques in this 3ds max tutorial.
Editable poly techniques
[1]- First of all you will press (ctrl +N) now you will see the new window is open
Click on the Geometry > Standard primitives > Cylinder and use the following setting
Create a Cylinder in the top view
[2]-Select the Cylinder right click Convert into Editable poly then select polygon mode in the editable poly
And make a selection like this image as shown below
[3]-Now click on the Insert button and use the following setting
Then Again click on the Extrude button and use the following setting
[4]-Now click on the Mirror button in the main toolbar you will see mirror window is open and use the following setting
You image should like this in the front view
[5]-Again Click on the Geometry > Standard primitives > Cylinder and use the following setting
Create a Cylinder in the left view and also create a multiple copies of cylinder your image should like this
[6]-Click on the Shape > Spline > NGon and create a NGon and also create a multiple copies of NGon
Then applying the mesh smooth modifier your image should like this in the perspective view
[7]-Open the Material window and import a rusty map and assign to the object
[8]-After assign the material and you will see the final is ready
Save the file in your folder
